Bilbao has a full range of cultural activities, including museums and art galleries. Some of the major museums are:

Bilbao Fine Arts Museum
The Fine Arts Museum is located in Parque Doña Casilda, the city´s classic green space. It has 35 exhibition rooms showing some magnificent classical, modern and contemporary works. A major collection of Basque artists and 20th century artists from all over the world.

Bilbao Guggenheim Museum
An impressive building designed by Frank Gehry, with exhibitions of modern contemporary art, and some excellent temporary exhibitions.

Basque Museum
Located in an old Baroque school in the old part of the city (Casco Viejo). Basque archaeology and ethnic history.

Maritime Museum
This is located next to the waterfront on a former shipyard site, with various features and aspects in reference to port and river activities of the past.

You can also visit the Sacred Art Museum (Museo Diocesano de Arte Sacro), the Museo de Pasos (Easter processions), Bullfight Museum (Museo Taurino), the Museum of Artistic Reproductions
